april always calls for a few more blogposts :p
we celebrated hui's bday a few days early because girl has commitments for days
pretty much lied to her from the moment we saw her face hahah
gotta love her gift-receiving skills <3

then we kidnapped her to Seven Lanterns to try out their degustation menu
for $70, they sure did have some tasty things. I tried the lanterns menu, but because of my recent shellfish allergy scare, I had to be one of those picky people of swapped their courses :(
they really loved their sweet meat sauces, but other than that one little downside, the meal was pretty awesome. I also figured that I love sticky date pudding :)

went to uni to film counselling video yesterday
so many lols
then had dinner with church peeps & pickle (at miso, where me and pickle had dinner the night before)

highlight of the night was when the girls silently communicated what to use twin's birthday present for :)

this blog has been so terribly neglected as of late.
i miss the days when there were only pretty much 2 people reading this, and i would just write stream of consciousness without censoring myself. but now i'm like...what is going to come back to haunt me?

anyway, i thought life would stop being hectic after april but things keep popping up here and there.
and now here we are :P

i have been so fortunate this year, with so much awesome present love.
i didn't get a chance to take a picture of everything, but despite my standard awkward donna present opening, i really love my gifts :D. thanks guys <3

will take pictures of my other awesome gifts when i have time ^^

and lol yes, i got two tiffany&co charms.
one from my uni friends and one from my dearest cousin anita. both as replacements for the one i lost from anita way back when. love them both. lol at anita not wanting to give me my present in front of everyone because of the awkward. but yes, wearing one proudly on my neck and waiting for the other one to get back from soldering to wear proudly on my wrist.

and also, i profited $35 lol.

today was hui's 26th birthday and because she is so busy, she could only slot us into sunday brunch

so we ended up at cafe-ish (in surry hills) on this beautiful sunday afternoon

and it was great :)
