fell back into laziness with this blog
was sick and bedridden two weeks ago, but all better now, i think...
after being in bed for two whole days, on the third day i got up and spent the day relaxing with crepe-making and reading.
finally, finished the book thief - made my heart hurt.

then spent the weekend catching up with people

started on friday night with an awesome heart to heart with jan while squeezed in between people at lowenbrau

we trundled through vivid in the damp cold and got heckled by many a drunk group

highlight of the night must have been when a stranger came up to me and told me i was good-looking while i was riding one of the light exhibits. that was before we realised he was a drunk hobo. 

so many lols. 

oh! and the other highlight was joining hands with a ton of strangers to try and get one of the exhibits to light up. it didn't work, but the moment was one of the most amazing things i'd ever experienced in terms of social processes /nerd.

tuesday
slept the entire day because i was sick
eck.

wednesday
went back to uni because of phD guilt and also cos had dinner with some cool people
when i reached my desk, this was what i was met with:

freakin' cold day, i remember it was

cherry 'i don't stop at round-a-bouts' ho drove us out to the city and we found a pretty awesome parking spot that turned out to be pretty far away

ate at tony romas and if not for wynnie's awesome 25% off...would probably not go back there for a while...xD

the steak didn't look that good, but tasted alright

 

lamb ribs with apparently weird tasting coleslaw

 

full rack of ribs with loaded mash

 

dessert: avalanche...apparently this was a good call 

 

apple crumble, that was not really a crumble

the food was alright. 

and with the discount it was a pretty decent amount of food for the price. 

apparently, the slamming doors were annoying. 

highlights

• janice asking joyce a question and joyce answering the question by looking at the wall
• joyce bringing up onion rings and flatuence...then cherry offering her opinion on the subject
• me and wynnie's faces when the loaded mash was not a lot of mash, but mash with...stuff
• the heated discussion about what's a plant, fruit, etc 
• tbc (since my drug-addled brain can't think before 4 items)

when i got home, found this on top of the shoe cabinet
SO. PRETTY.
can't wait to have rainbow eyelids (half kidding).
