turns out i still haven't recovered from the splurge in the US yet
finding it so hard to spend money on non-food items
i had a $50 birthday gift card from two years back that expired yesterday
so i had to use it
seriously, took me and mum the entire day to find something to spend it on
(well, mum offered to use it on groceries but i was adamant not to)
why so difficult?
anyway spent the day in chatswood with mum, which was nice
ate lunch at good on good (making up names to restaurants now, but pretty sure the direct chinese translation is something like that...hmm...maybe it's called supergood or something?)
their food is pretty awesome.
we got the bbq pork & roast duck on a plate, 3c noodles and ice milk tea.
(see how well this diet is going for me?)
after lunch, we spent hours strolling around westfield and we kept getting surprised each time we found ourselves on the other side because of the strange layout
almost bought a dress from bardot but it was too big :(
finally ended up getting a fake leather jacket from glassons for $49.99
(i know! i lost $0.01 on my gift card!)
at around 4:45pm we went over to chatswood chase because i wanted frozen yogurt
pink guava is pretty pricey, but i think all frozen yoghurt places are pretty pricey?
i got the mixed yoghurt and added oreos to make it healthy. xD
they had a display made out of sugar there, so hectic!
and below, my new giftcard purchase~
did nothing today.
donna.
