hightea at wynwyn's place

yesterday was high tea at wynnie's place and it was hectic
got there a little late, and was welcomed by a really really great spread
i think pickle was a bit overwhelmed by the standard of wynnie's food parties

overindulged in food and beverages before we settled down for board games
and what a boardgame marathon it was
played in alphabetical order - articulate, balderdash, outburst, scattergories, trivial pursuit

articulate: lol at janice's face everytime WORLD came up; and michelle being all like I DON'T KNOW THESE PEOPLE!!!
and can't believe what we thought up for balderdash...some disturbing stuff there...looking at you wynnie...with your pregnant ladies. *disturbed. or even when we were guessing and we couldn't decide if it was joyce or wynnie or michelle who had thought it up and that was when i realised i was surrounded by weird people.
and lol at joyce using my tactic of including ~genres to throw people of her scent.
outburst was a bit boring...lol at everyont thinking the device was eletronic
once again, scattergories was fun and oh-so-political. COME ON! HOLES, BLACK are totes in outerspace!
sigh.

then the adults made dinner while the children watched home alone; wheeeeeee
i kind of want to watch home alone marathon with you guys. it would be so cute and fun. lol.
after dinner, joyce made everyone play trivial pursuit even though everyone was like dead on their feet. can't believe we won trivial pursuit...lol.

left around 11:30ish or do i lie? my brain is so fried these days; i can't think of highlights properly.
